TUFFPLANK WARRANTY

The Tuff Plank warranty covers defects in the material provided that the product was installed properly according to the manufacturers instructions.

This warranty does not included damages caused by, but not limited to:

Fire, flooding, excessive moisture, alkalis in the sub floor, hydrostatic pressure, mis-use or abuse caused by cutting tools, beater bars, castor wheels, sharp objects, discoloration resulting from rubber floor mats, exterior application, minor shading, color or texture difference between samples and delivered product, or loss of time and incidental expense. Damage caused by abuse such as moving appliances across the floor without adequate protection.

This warranty applies to the original purchaser of the Tuff Plank product and does not apply to any subsequent end-user. This warranty is in lieu of any other warranties expressed, written, or implied. This warranty covers material only, and does not include labor.

If a defect is found in the Tuff Plank material, International Builders Supply will replace the defective material with the closest color and pattern available. Proof of purchase with the date of purchase must be presented with the claim.

Flooring should be acclimated in opened cartons in the environment in which it will be installed to allow for proper installation and “marriage” with the sub-floor and home. Acclimate the flooring for at least 48 hours (preferably 3-4 days) prior to installation In addition, the heating or cooling system should be operating and controlled between 65 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit at for at least 48 hours before, during and maintained after installing. We recommend that you do not scrub or wash your floor for five days.

Disclaimer of Warranty: This limited warranty does not create for or impose upon the manufacturer any obligations or liabilities arising from any other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The manufacturer shall not be liable to the customer or any other person from any incidental, special, or consequential damages, and disclaims liability for breach of any other express or implied warranties with respect to this product. Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the foregoing exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages may not obtain. This limited warranty gives the customer specific legal rights. Such rights may vary from one jurisdiction to another.

Responsibility for final inspection and approval falls to the customer and installer prior to permanent installation. It is the installers responsibility to check color, finish and quality before installation. If your installer is not satisfied with our flooring prior to installation, then do not install the floor and contact us right away. We are not responsible for any costs associated with repairing or replacing plank that were installed with evident defects.
